Serenada

Serenada is a residential community located west of Interstate Highway 35 about twenty-seven miles north of Austin and three miles northwest of Georgetown in central Williamson County. Development under the name of Serenada Estates had begun just northwest of the Georgetown Municipal Airport by January 1974. The first population figures were reported from the 1990 census when Serenada recorded 3,242 residents. That figure fell to 1,847 in 2000.
