Iraan

Iraan is at the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and State Highway 349, near the Pecos River sixteen miles northwest of Sheffield in eastern Pecos County. It came into existence after the discovery of oil on the nearby Ira G. Yates ranch in 1926 ( see ??YATES OILFIELD
