Water Tower Plaza

We are home to the tallest historic water tower of its type in Texas. Our citizens have designed a plaza to allow our visitors to stroll through and see not only the history of the water tower but also get a glimpse of how life was during the early years of Shamrock. The Texas Plains Trail Region uses this plaza during their presentations as an example of how a community can take advantage of their history and provide visitors an enjoyable “trip through history.
