"Brazoria, County Courthouse located in Angleton, Texas. Listed as an active courthouse. Designed by architect Lamar Q. Cato, Houston and constructed by Knutson Construction, Houston,1940 in the Modern style.

The Brazoria County Historical Museum exists to discover, preserve, and make known the history of Brazoria County. Located in Brazoria Countys historic 1897 courthouse, the Museum collects, preserves and exhibits artifacts that relate the history of and which reflect the Countys cultural and demographic diversity."
