"Bexar, County Courthouse located in San Antonio, Texas. Listed as an active courthouse. Designed by architect J. Riely Gordon and constructed by Dugan & Kroeger,1896 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. In 1892, after a heated debate, the county seat was moved from Castroville to Hondo, a town that was located closer to the center of the county."
