Jr. Performers Camp- Led & designed by certified EC-12 educators, Jr performers Camp is designed for ages 7 to 11 years old. This three week camp is sure to both educate and entertain. Designed with the young actor in mind, we cover basic acting skills such as character creation and movement in conjunction with developing the speaking/singing voice and incorporating basic dance steps and stage movement into the performance. Campers will also be taught stagecraft concepts such as blocking, projection and stage direction to help increase confidence and deliver a compelling performance. We will also introduce students to mask work, improvisation and theatre arts games. At the end of the three week session the students will perform a one act production for friends and family. DVD?s will be available of the performance. 2 sessions: Session 1 - June 4th-22nd Mon-Thurs 9am-12pm.
