Description Fayette, County Courthouse located in La Grange, Texas. Listed as an active courthouse. Designed by architect J. Riely Gordon and constructed by Martin, Byrne & Johnston,1891 in the Romanesque Revival with eclectic details. W. C. Dodson designed the Hood County Courthouse, which was built in 1890 to 1891.
