"Henderson, County Courthouse located in Athens, Texas. Listed as an active courthouse. Designed by architect L. L. Thurmon & Co. and constructed by L.R. Wright & Co., Dallas,1913 in the Beaux Arts style. The original 3-story brick structure with sheet metal details was designed in the Renaissance Revival style style. At each corner of the pavilions were tall brick pedestals formed in patterns of brickwork to represent stone quoining."....
