The City of Canton is famous for its First Monday Trade Days, but it has another distinction that is even more valued by the people who live here -- Canton is one of the few places where the family still comes first and there is little fear of serious crime. The setting is beautifully wooded East Texas with lightly rolling hills, and the atmosphere is laid back. The people are family-oriented, genuine, and friendly.
