Bryan College Station Welcome to Bryan-College Station and the Brazos Valley home of The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library, Historic Downtown Bryan and Texas A&M University where tradition, warm hospitality and the spirit of Aggieland are all at your fingertips.

In Aggieland, Howdy is more than a greeting it's a genuine spirit that no one forgets. Bryan College Station is located in Brazos County in east central Texas.

The two cities are nestled in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and Austin triangle and are easily accessible from all parts of the state.

In fact the twin cities are located within a 180-mile radius of 80% of the Texas population. Bryan was established in 1859 in honor of William Joel Bryan, nephew of Texas Pioneer Stephen F. Austin and has been the agricultural and commercial center of the rich Brazos River Valley Farmlands since 1867, when the H&TC Railroad initiated train service through the town.

Within a few years, Bryan was linked by rail to major agricultural hospitality markets across the country. College Station became a city in 1938, although it was born in 1871 with the Agricultural and Mechanical College, Texas A&M.
