Today, a visit to the Mary Elizabeth Hopkins Santa Claus Museum is like a walk through 20th Century Americana. Through interactive kiosks, videos and interpretive signage, visitors to the museum will learn about the history of the real St. Nicholas and how American manufacturers and retailers such as Coca-Cola, Montgomery Wards and others allied with writers and artists from throughout the world to create the international phenomenon known as Santa Claus. Items in the collection include Thomas Nast and Norman Rockwell prints, vintage postcards, and figurines by Duncan Royale, Coca-Coala, Fitz and Floyd, Steiff, PEZ, and more.
