C.E. Rogers & Son General Store in the Stewart community. The store opened in 1889 it is one of the oldest and last general stores in East Texas and retains much of its old “general store” atmosphere along with more modern merchandise. A 100-plus-year-old cash register holds the stores current “charge accounts”. The store is open 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday closed holidays.
